I thought i would do a quick review on these 2 lipstick shades I bought. When I walked into the Mac store to browse through after ages, I ended up lusting after not just 1 but these 2 shades which are totally sold out in Mac-UK website and in store!! 😡 Thank goodness! Debnhams and Selfridges had them online and I couldn’t be more excited!!! 😃 All fired up and Flat out fabulous! 😍
I absolutely loveeee these shades! Nice and bright. 😊
After a very long winter, spring is finally here! :D After months of feeling exhausted from baby duties, the longer and warmer days ahead give me something to look forward too! Isn’t spring/summer all about bright colours? I am absolutely loving it!! :)
My very first Spring 2014 ootd…
Hope all is great with you. :) It’s been 3 months since my little baby belle was born! 😱 How quick time flies! It all feels like yesterday since I conceived and gave birth! ☺️
Although I do make a slight effort while we go out, I decided to do an OOTD post because the weather has been beautiful and isn’t it time to bring them dresses out of the closest?! (Just another excuse because those jeans refuse to go past my hips!😩)
Anyway, I am wearing…
Yes, I love the colour ‘Gold’ and anything bling! :P Don’t I say that about most colours and prints?! :D
Do women have pregnancy favourite colours? Because I was so over the top on the colours ‘pink’ and ‘gold’ while I was pregnant! ;)
So here are my few ‘gold’ outfits I wore during my pregnancy! Oh, and I was fortunate enough not to invest in any maternity wear (which I feel is a complete rip-off!) except for a pair of jeans and 2 dresses! ;) Nailed it :P
32 weeks pregnant
33 weeks pregnant
35 weeks pregnant
Long time no posts! What’s been happening in my life? Diaper change, hourly feedings and lack of sleep! But that has not stopped me from doing little things I like… For example getting this ‘Ombré’ hair done.. Call it a pamper day with a slight tinge of guilt for having my baby left at home whilst I sat in the salon for 3 long hours getting my hair done! ;)
Was it worth it? I’ll leave you to decide! ;) Good day folks. :D
Happy NEWYEAR, if I haven’t wished you already! :D I hope you are having a great start towards this year and may this year be the best for you. :)
New year, new beginnings….. My love for polka dots is eternal! And yes, the fringe returns! ;) Despite feeling exhausted with baby duties, I still try and keep up my regular (crazy) obsessions to ward away the baby blues (>_<). Who doesn't love a bit of pampering after all! ;)
On my Birthday I wore my favourite polka dots and my birthday present? My lovely daughter, Jiyaa!! Couldn't ask for a better present. And yes, I am yet to buy my 'other' present! :P
I am wearing…
Polka dot blouse: Zara
Jeans: Newlook maternity skinny jeans (the best maternity jeans!)
Necklace: Swarovski (bday present!)
Happy weekend folks! :D
16 days since giving birth, yesterday was Jiyaa’s first outing to the mall with her Mommy, Daddy and Grandparents. “How was the experience?” is what most people would ask and something I would question myself as well… ‘Stressful, tiring, not too bad and got through with it’, is what I would say! Getting my baby girl ready and making sure I had packed everything before hand was so stressful (Tbh, the stress wasn’t needed and it was only me psyching myself towards perfection! Lol) :D I wonder how parents with multiple children get along?! 😰😅 ;)
Anyway, this is my first OOTD post since giving birth! I did try and make an effort minus the tiredness and exhaustion! Oh!! I also managed to (literally) squeeze into my skinny jeans after 7 months!! :D
I am wearing…
I have missed my OOTD posts! :( the final few weeks being pregnant was draining enough but, I didn’t forget or miss opportunities to take ootd pictures. :P
Here’s me 32 weeks/ 7 months pregnant in my super sequin dress bought for me as a present by my Mom which was locked away for 4 years! Reason? I wasn’t confident enough to wear it! ;) Dressing the bump made me feel slightly more confident :P
I am wearing….
Aloha! I have missed being active and doing my regular posts. Let’s just say I was having days or ‘months’ of me time and not going over board with my pregnancy. But that does not mean I haven’t been documenting the weeks and months leading up to the birth of my beautiful daughter (blessed!). :)
It has been a very long time since I’ve done my posts! I know I keep giving the same excuse every time but this one could be genuine and excused! :P
I am so happy and proud to announce that my husband and me welcomed our darling precious baby girl ‘JIYAA’ on 11.12.13! :D
So today my husband and me celebrated our 2nd year wedding anniversary. Gosh! It feels like yesterday since we got married and it has already been 2 years now. I am not a romantic neither am I poet, so I am not going to write a poem or pen down my thoughts about my lovely husband whilst he’s sitting besides me and, when I can tell him directly how I feel about him rather than going on about it here. ;)
But I must say I had the best 2 days this weekend. We did what most normal couples would do. Lunch/dinner, movie, a wee bit of retail therapy and most importantly spent quality time together after ages! Couldn’t wish for a better weekend. :D
So here are my 2 outfits I wore during this weekend..
(p.s. Sorry about the grainy picture quality)
It has been a year, yes! ONE YEAR since I started my blog, ‘My Obsessions’. Continue reading
Couple of months ago I had posted a topic on participating for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research, where I had requested family and friends to support me with my cause (click here full details). Today, being the 1st of October, a month dedicated towards Breast Cancer Awareness, I take the opportunity to thank everyone who took time to email or message me their pictures in pink to support my cause. This has meant a lot to me. As promised, I did donate the contributions to UK Cancer Research on the 19th of May, the day I lost my beloved Mother to this horrible illness.
Let us take a moment to remember and pray for all the brave people, their families and loved ones who are or have battled this illness together.
I am a HUGE fan of prints, any print! And, when I spotted this heart print shirt from Burberry, I was drooling all over it! But seriously would I pay a fortune (£500!) just for ‘heart print shirt’ even though it is one of the cutest prints?! No way!! Lucky me! I found something similar in Select for a fraction of the price! :D Talk about thrift shopping!! ;) Anyway, I wore my heart(s) my sleeve yesterday for a lovely afternoon tea with my girls. :D
Here’s me wearing…
So I am on Instagram too! You may follow me on @kavbasavraj for more everyday randomness. Have a great day folks. :D
It is not very often that I over-do my eyes. However, today I wanted to test my eye-makeup skills by trying out the ‘rainbow eyeshadow’. It has been such a grey and gloomy day and playing with colours has definitely made me a happy bunny! :D
Here’s what I did step-by-step…… Continue reading
Prints are fun to pep up any plain outfit and, any print can be worn dressed up or down! So here’s my leopard print OOTD.
I am wearing…
You guys must have guessed by now how much I love anything ‘retro’. So I decided to try some retro nails on me. :D
Today I realised that it has been quite a while since I have posted any of my ‘quick fix’ recipes. It just hasn’t occurred to me to take pictures and do a post. Well anyway, here’s me today presenting to you with my yummy ‘Jacket/baked potato with beans and salad’. Mmmmm… :P This is very basic and probably the easiest to make. For this you will need…
Autumn is setting in or, has it already begun? Blazers and jackets feel so apt for the weather right now however, I suppose I might soon need to bring out my winter coats and boots! ;) Anyway, here’s something I wore couple of days ago….
