So I decided to try the summer 2012 trend, ‘border nails’. I think the border nails are absolutely cool and trendy. I was so confused in choosing my colours and I finally decided that I wanted something bright and bold. So I opted for the bubblegum pink and neon yellow nail polish.

As you can see from this picture, I am not the best at applying nail paints. I tried so hard not to ruin my nails but, oh well! There’s always a first time 😉 I went through some posts, where people have done some amazing border nail art, so I tried to follow the same. Have I got the desired effect? Errrr.. I might get better at it someday. Hopefully! 😉

What you will need to do is..
1. Apply a your choice of a base coat colour and let it dry (I chose bubblegum pink)
2. Apply a second colour right at the centre of your nails (I chose neon yellow) and, make sure it doesn’t touch the border of your nails.
3. You can finally finish it off with a top coat to seal the colour.
It’s fun to try and mix shades. Bright colours definitely brightens my mood :). Have fun with your nails.xxx
