I had some ‘me time’ today. Running errands, having lunch by myself and a tad bit of retail therapy. Oh the joy of doing things by myself. 😀
I went into Boots to buy some toiletries but ended up buying some lipsticks. I had no intentions to buy any cosmetics whatsoever but it was about time to dump my old lipsticks and buy some new shades.
It has been so long since I have done a food post. I haven’t been cooking a lot lately but that does not mean I haven’t been visiting my kitchen. 😉 Today I decided to make some radish salad with a slight South Indian touch to it.

I was going thorough my phone gallery and found few pictures from last year. Last year around now, I had fairly long hair. I wanted to grow my hair till my waist but I was told that my long hair had aged me a good few years! “Yikes”, I thought to myself and decided to go the extreme. Hence the ‘sleek bob’. 🙂
My dear friend ‘Em’ gave me this lovely black and white stripe top as a post birthday present sometime ago now. Yes, I know I have been receiving a lot of presents lately and I do feel so spoilt. Lol. A big thank you to all my near and dear ones for all the lovely presents I have received in the past few weeks.xxxx
Anyway, I managed to style this stripe top in two different ways. One during the day and the other for the evening/night. I managed to contrast it with yellow on both occasions. 🙂
It was such a pleasant surprise when my darling husband remembered that today is Valentines day. A bunch of red roses, a box of chocolate, a warm hug and a tender kiss made me fall in love with him all over again.
I am pretty sure most of us have warmed to, or, we have taken a HUGE liking to neon colours since spring-summer 2012. I am definitely one amongst similar crazier friends of mine and neon addicts out there! Lol. The colour to some are blinding, but to me it depicts sheer happiness. It has been a while since I have grown my nails fairly long. I do however like nail art and painting my nails once in a while. Every time I have tried doing my nails, it somehow turns out disastrous! Lol. Today, I tried doing something different with my nails. I have been growing my nails and I haven’t cut or manicured it for few weeks now. I have always wanted to try the on trend ‘stiletto nails’. I found these amazing ones on the Internet.
It has been such a gloomy, rainy day today. My choice of outfit for today reflects this weather 😉

So my darling husband began craving for some yummy Thai food this evening. Both, my husband and me are BIG food lovers and we don’t really need an excuse to get out and grab a bite or two. 😉
We (my friends, husband and I) decided to go for skiing in Glencoe last weekend but the weather was so bad and they decided to close the ski mountain down for the day. Nevertheless, we did not let the weather ruin our plans completely! We decided to drive to Cumbria to view the magnificent snow covered landscape. Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking.
