Galaxy nails

So here’s what i tried today, ‘galaxy nails’. Ok it might not be perfect (as usual!), but not bad for trying it for the first time ha! πŸ˜‰

What you will need…

– Nail polishes > black, electric blue, magenta, white and glitter nail polishes.
– Tweezer
– Sponge (3 small pieces)
– Toothpick
– Nail filer (optional).

Ok I’ve tried to do a step-by-step procedure explaining how I achieved this look. It was hard to take pictures whilst using both hands to do the job. But I did manage. So yay!! πŸ˜€

Step 1

File nails. Apply black nail polish as a base coat and leave it to dry.

Step 2

Take a small piece of sponge and dab on some electric blue nail polish on the sponge. Use the sponge with a tweezer and dab in the electric blue nail polish diagonally on your painted black nails.

Step 3

Use magenta nail polish and repeat the same procedure as step 2. However, make sure the magenta colour does not cover the electric blue colour nail polish entirely.

Step 4

Now use the white nail polish and repeat step 3.

Step 5

Take a tooth pick and make small dots that are spread across your nails.

Step 6

Finally add the glitter nail polish to give it a galaxy effect. What I should have done is probably add a little more magenta to give it a better effect. Oh well, there’ always next time. πŸ˜› Clean up the edges and you have you’re galaxy nails ready in time to shine πŸ˜€
