I love experimenting with new and different hairstyles. Just because I have short hair length, I do not let it get in the way to try different hairstyles. My hair is naturally wavy and I don’t like straightening it every other day. So on days where I feel I can’t be bothered with my hair, I tie it up into a pony tail or do a messy up-do.
I did a post on Double denimΒ few days agoΒ where I received a lot of compliments for my hair and, some of you requesting me on how I wore my hair. I have tried to do a step-by-step for some of you who messaged and asked me on how to do this very simple and basic up-do. The lighting is very unforgiving and I have to admit that it was hard taking pictures whilst doing this. I hope my efforts are well worth though. Thank you all so much for being very kind. π
To begin with,you will need…
– Hair rubber bands
– Hair bun shaper (I bought it in Primark for a pound!)
– Bobby pins
– Bun pins
*I have dark hair, so I have used everything in black to disguise. π
Here’s what I did…
So that was what I did. The hair might not be perfect but I am no perfectionist. π Anyway, the up-do/bun doesn’t have to be boring! You can a add side fringe or no fringe, use a hairband or even use a small bow to accessorise it. Bring in you’re creativity and give you’re up-do a twist. π
I hope you guys liked my post. Let the weekend begin. π xxxx
I commend you for using the word ‘whilst’. π
Haha thank you.. That’s me picking up on the British English π
Awesome!! You are such a pro at doing it. I wish I can do the same.
Love it! Love it! Love it! π
Thank you so much Sweetie. It’s very simple. Try it and you’ll see it requires no hard work π xxx
Fab! I think the outcome of the technique is so chic that I must try. Also, your step by step guide + great pictures will really help, hehe π xx
