After ages, my DH and me decided to take a couple’s break for this Easter weekend. It was all very last minute but a well deserved break. We headed towards ‘Bath Spa’ for this weekend. The weather was amazing on the day we decided to do touristy bits and, on the other day it was gloomy, so we decided to stay indoors and make the most of the hotel’s spa treatments. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful weekend and a BIG thanks to my sweetheart who despite having a hectic work schedule, took a couple of days off (only from London, but not from work! lol) to take me away. 😀

The city of Bath is so romantic to me. It’s definitely one my favourite cities in England. Here’s a glimpse of our weekend. Lots of food, pictures and feeling relaxed. 🙂

Out and about…

This was the second time we went to the city of Bath together. However, I have to admit that not once did we get to visit the famous ‘Roman Bath’. There was a 2 hour wait (the joy of bank holidays!) to get inside and neither of us were bothered queuing up. So we had to give it a miss this time around as well. But that would mean we could get to visit Bath again in pretext of visiting the Roman Bath. Lol. We went on a river cruise instead which was spectacular. 🙂

This looks like we had more to eat than going around the city! Lol. But that was the whole idea behind this ‘break’. To take it easy and relax (but ‘work’ simultaneously for the husband). 😉
