Hello again…
It has been 3 years since I have been married to the love of my life. And, on this 3rd year wedding anniversary, we were truly blessed to have our little big joy, Jiyaa with us. A quite family affair doing the usual family/couple thing, out and about for dinner with our little doll which quite did not last very long! Our little Madamé was very cranky and wanted us to retire home quickly! 😁 Talk about the perks of being a parent.. It comes as a whole package! Nevertheless, it was a short sweet evening (if that is how I have to put it across in the nicest possible way!)😜

Being a Mommy to my baby girl is (one of) the best thing that has happened to me! I love playing dress ups with Jiyaa and, why not include her once in a while in my posts! Coordinating outfits is so much fun after all (not sure if she will agree to it once she is big enough to understand!) eek! 😛

Hope all is great with you. 🙂 It’s been 3 months since my little baby belle was born! 😱 How quick time flies! It all feels like yesterday since I conceived and gave birth! ☺️
Although I do make a slight effort while we go out, I decided to do an OOTD post because the weather has been beautiful and isn’t it time to bring them dresses out of the closest?! (Just another excuse because those jeans refuse to go past my hips!😩)

Do women have pregnancy favourite colours? Because I was so over the top on the colours ‘pink’ and ‘gold’ while I was pregnant! 😉
So here are my few ‘gold’ outfits I wore during my pregnancy! Oh, and I was fortunate enough not to invest in any maternity wear (which I feel is a complete rip-off!) except for a pair of jeans and 2 dresses! 😉 Nailed it 😛

New year, new beginnings….. My love for polka dots is eternal! And yes, the fringe returns! 😉 Despite feeling exhausted with baby duties, I still try and keep up my regular (crazy) obsessions to ward away the baby blues (>_<). Who doesn't love a bit of pampering after all! 😉
On my Birthday I wore my favourite polka dots and my birthday present? My lovely daughter, Jiyaa!! Couldn't ask for a better present. And yes, I am yet to buy my 'other' present! 😛

16 days since giving birth, yesterday was Jiyaa’s first outing to the mall with her Mommy, Daddy and Grandparents. “How was the experience?” is what most people would ask and something I would question myself as well… ‘Stressful, tiring, not too bad and got through with it’, is what I would say! Getting my baby girl ready and making sure I had packed everything before hand was so stressful (Tbh, the stress wasn’t needed and it was only me psyching myself towards perfection! Lol) 😀 I wonder how parents with multiple children get along?! 😰😅 😉
Anyway, this is my first OOTD post since giving birth! I did try and make an effort minus the tiredness and exhaustion! Oh!! I also managed to (literally) squeeze into my skinny jeans after 7 months!! 😀

Aloha! I have missed being active and doing my regular posts. Let’s just say I was having days or ‘months’ of me time and not going over board with my pregnancy. But that does not mean I haven’t been documenting the weeks and months leading up to the birth of my beautiful daughter (blessed!). 🙂
It has been a very long time since I’ve done my posts! I know I keep giving the same excuse every time but this one could be genuine and excused! 😛
I am so happy and proud to announce that my husband and me welcomed our darling precious baby girl ‘JIYAA’ on 11.12.13! 😀
So today my husband and me celebrated our 2nd year wedding anniversary. Gosh! It feels like yesterday since we got married and it has already been 2 years now. I am not a romantic neither am I poet, so I am not going to write a poem or pen down my thoughts about my lovely husband whilst he’s sitting besides me and, when I can tell him directly how I feel about him rather than going on about it here. 😉
But I must say I had the best 2 days this weekend. We did what most normal couples would do. Lunch/dinner, movie, a wee bit of retail therapy and most importantly spent quality time together after ages! Couldn’t wish for a better weekend. 😀

Couple of months ago I had posted a topic on participating for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research, where I had requested family and friends to support me with my cause (click here full details). Today, being the 1st of October, a month dedicated towards Breast Cancer Awareness, I take the opportunity to thank everyone who took time to email or message me their pictures in pink to support my cause. This has meant a lot to me. As promised, I did donate the contributions to UK Cancer Research on the 19th of May, the day I lost my beloved Mother to this horrible illness.
Let us take a moment to remember and pray for all the brave people, their families and loved ones who are or have battled this illness together.
Hello everybody! I am back to those of you who have missed me! 😀 Yes! I am still alive! lol. Ok so it has been a crazy long time since I have done a post. This summer has been a little busy but I am glad to be posting after what feels like years!! A lot has happened over the past few months and it does feel like there’s a lot to catch up on. Every time I do a post, it’s always been focused around me. I just realised that for once I could take away the focus from me and involve my family, friends and anyone interested to participate in one of my posts.
It’s simple. Since one/few of my recent posts were on pink, I decided on making a post where anyone interested in participating can send me pictures of their outfit in pink.
Why am I doing this? I will be honest. Initially when I came up with this idea, I wanted it to be a fun post. But then, I wanted my post to have some meaning to it and not just another fashion post. Since I published ‘a week in pink’ post during this month, I thought I could use it as an excuse to get you participating in my next post.
The colour ‘pink’ is not just a colour. It is a colour which also signifies ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’. I thought I could use this opportunity to contribute towards Breast Cancer Research and Awareness by raising funds for the Cancer charities. Coming May, it will be 2 years since I lost my Mother and, 12 years since I lost my Aunt to Breast Cancer. So if I could show support in a small way, I would.
I hate it when I open my wardrobe, stand and gaze at the clothes blindly not knowing what to wear! And then, on most occasions I end up wearing my everyday jeans and an old t-shirt like I have nothing else to wear. I am sure most of us have been in similar situation. 😉
This week is slightly busy for me. Having to go out quite often, I decided to make the most of what I already have in my closet. If you peek into my wardrobe you will see I have almost every clothing in every colour and shade. Pink is not my most favourite colour, but I have decided to wear a piece of clothing in pink all week along. Yesterday was an exception and today it begins. 😀
