Autumn has begun….
Autumn is setting in or, has it already begun? Blazers and jackets feel so apt for the weather right now however, I suppose I might soon need to bring out my winter coats and boots! 😉 Anyway, here’s something I wore couple of days ago….

Figured that I haven’t done an OOTD post for a very long time! Summer has been amazing in London so far and here’s me making the most of this lovely warm weather. This outfit I wore yday for me is very Minni mouse inspired (is that even age appropriate?! 😀 ) probably because of the polka dots, red and the attempted (but miserably failed!) ‘bow up-do’ :P. Anyway,……….

The much awaited and anticipated ‘Fast & furious 6’ is finally here!! 😀 So like all fast fans, we couldn’t wait to watch this action packed movie. This movie definitely did not let my expectations down. Thumbs up from me. Movie followed by dinner date. 😀

Was I the only one who was cold today? It’s crazy how the temperature keeps fluctuating every now then. Any how, looking on the brighter side, it is at least going to be summer soon and not winter again. This is me in prints and pink, back to my cardigan and scarf wrapped all warm. 😀

Ok my outfit today for today is slightly mismatched yet SO comfortable. I had an early start to my day (as you can see from the photos, early morning swollen face! Lol). I knew I had lots of walking to do, so I decided to wear something super comfortable. Well tbh, this is me on most days. 😀

I decided to wear this all black outfit on this cold/chilly day. I accessorised it with my beige-brown trilby hat which I had long forgotten. So that was my hat which pepped up my rather colourless outfit. 😀

Comic print skirt
Ok, so this was the comic strip all about. It happens to be a SKIRT! Lol. Sorry about the unnecessary hype for this. 😀
I have never worn pencil/tube skirts before (mainly due to bum and tum issues!). But when I saw this print, I knew I had to have it. I bought this skirt online and, I was a little apprehensive about it because I wasn’t sure how it would fit and look on me. Anyhow, with a little help from my secret friend called ‘spanx’ and, with occasional tummy suck-in, I think was able to manage wearing it for most time during the day. 😀

20 degrees C
Behold… The weather girl is back. Yikes! I know, I should seriously at some point stop commenting on the weather. But today the weather is nearly 20 degrees celsius. I never in a million years thought that I will be so obsessed about the weather whilst I was living in India. 20 degrees C in India, I had my cardigan on. 20 degrees C in London and I dare to wear sleeveless tops. The irony! Lol. Anyway, here’s me today making the most of this warm weather. 😀

Opting for the retro look today
My look for today was inspired by the “We can do it!” image which was once used to promote feminism in the 80’s. Every time I saw a poster of it, I always thought it was ‘cool’. But then, there lies history behind the image which gives it a lot of meaning.
Monochrome with a pop of colour
Today I decided go monochrome with a pop of colour. The weather is getting warmer and I am so glad I didn’t have to layer up. 😀 Casual and comfortable for an evening out. By the way, if you like Hollywood action then you must watch ‘Olympus has fallen’. Brilliant movie. 🙂

Would you like to participate?
Every time I do a post, it’s always been focused around me. I just realised that for once I could take away the focus from me and involve my family, friends and anyone interested to participate in one of my posts.
It’s simple. Since one/few of my recent posts were on pink, I decided on making a post where anyone interested in participating can send me pictures of their outfit in pink.
Why am I doing this? I will be honest. Initially when I came up with this idea, I wanted it to be a fun post. But then, I wanted my post to have some meaning to it and not just another fashion post. Since I published ‘a week in pink’ post during this month, I thought I could use it as an excuse to get you participating in my next post.
The colour ‘pink’ is not just a colour. It is a colour which also signifies ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’. I thought I could use this opportunity to contribute towards Breast Cancer Research and Awareness by raising funds for the Cancer charities. Coming May, it will be 2 years since I lost my Mother and, 12 years since I lost my Aunt to Breast Cancer. So if I could show support in a small way, I would.
A week in pink (final day 7)
This is my last and final day of my week in pink. Phew! I am already exhausted trying to do an OOTD post every single day for this entire week. By the end of this week, I really appreciate and admire people who do OOTD posts for 365 days! Bravo .. 😀 Here’s me wearing my very casual outfit in pink.

A week in pink (Day 6)
Today has been absolutely gorgeous. The weather outside has been so perfect after all the gloomy, rainy days we have had so far. I am sure most of us are feeling so happy and chirpy about it.
